Hello everyone!
It is a very special day today because exactly one year ago, I posted my very first blog and A Touch Of Tulle came alive! I am so happy and grateful not only for how far my blog has come since then, but for how much I’ve grown as a person. Writing has always been a huge part of my life, and I love that I’m able to share with you all. I have been able to meet and work with amazing people and brands since I began writing and I’m beyond excited to see what the future has in store!
Now I’m sure you’re all wondering, what’s the big surprise? Well I have some fantastic news! As you all know, I have always been obsessed with tulle skirts, and that love has only flourished since I started working at Bianka Bridal where I’m constantly surrounded by beautiful gowns. With guidance from my friend Lizzie, who is a fashion design student at Kendall College of Art and Design, I have designed and created my very own tulle skirts! Fashion has always been an interest of mine, and I’ve thrown around the idea of making my own pieces for quite some time and I finally decided to just make it happen.
Each month I’m hoping to showcase one tulle skirt that I’ve created, and I’m starting it off today with the “Rosalie” skirt. “Rosalie” is a beautiful muted rose colored mid-length skirt that has such a romantic and elegant feel. I’m also slightly obsessed with this color if you couldn’t tell, hence the matching rose macarons I had specially made from Le Bon Macaron 🙂 For this outfit I decided to keep it simple and sweet by pairing “Rosalie” with a white v-neck body suit top and silver jewelry from Stella & Dot to accent.
I just want to thank you all one more time for always staying up to date on my posts since I started A Touch Of Tulle. I never imagined it could be what it is today and I can’t wait to continue sharing my day-to-day life and fun experiences with you, as well as this new line of tulle skirts!
