Happy Wednesday everyone! I hope you all are enjoying this cool, rainy spring day, and if you’re not, just remember, it could be snowing right now. One thing I love to do on days like today is throw on my rubber boots and rain jacket, and head over to Le Bon Macaron for a cup of hot tea, pastries and girl talk with my best friend Tessa. Le Bon Macaron in East Town is hands down one of my favorite places to escape to because it reminds me of my time in Paris. The shabby chic decor mimics several of the cafes I stepped foot in while wandering around the City of Lights.
Just recently we tried out their special Afternoon Tea Time experience where Le Bon provides us with our own choice of tea, croissants, cheese and crackers, and of course, macarons. I’m actually pretty picky when it comes to macarons because I always thought that nothing could beat Laduree, but let me tell you, Le Bon is amazing! Tessa and I stayed for hours chatting and enjoying each other’s company while indulging in the amazing food. It was so nice to get away from all of the college student stress and just relax.
If you ever find yourself in and around East Town, you have to check this place out! I promise you won’t regret it!
Until next time,
Allyson
