Breakfast & Tea at Laduree

Bonjour from Paris!

Yesterday was my first full day back in my favorite city and I got to spend it with my best friend, Tessa, who actually got engaged two nights ago! How amazing is that?! We decided to celebrate by meeting up and going to Ladurée on the Champs-Elysées. As I’m sure you all know by now, Tessa and I are both pretty much obsessed with sweets, especially macarons, so going to Laudrée was high on our list of To-Do’s for the day.

We began breakfast with delicious tea and conversation about how both of our trips have been so far. I told her all about my experiences while working the Cannes Film Festival, and she explained how her European adventure had been going so far (but we mainly talked about how her engagement went the night before though).

When it came time to order something to eat, we both decided on French toast. Tessa wanted hers to be simple with maple syrup, but I ordered mine with fresh raspberries and rose whipped cream. It was absolutely amazing! It has always been our dream to explore Paris together, so we were both gushing about how excited we were to be there.

We ended up leaving with Ladurée with full bellies, several boxes of macarons and bottles of champagne, and fabulous memories. Hopefully someday soon we can both return and explore even more of what Paris has to offer!
