The Eva Skirt

Good morning and happy Friday!

I am slowly starting to adjust to being back home, but my heart is still in my favorite city. I’ve decided that today is the perfect day  to share with you all my third handmade tulle skirt! The Eva skirt is everything I’ve ever dreamed of and more! I came up with the design after being inspired by the beautiful Tour de Eiffel. During my first trip to Paris two years ago (read more from that post here), Jacob and I were absolutely mesmerized by the iconic and grand sparking tower at night. It’s no wonder they call it the City of Light, because the tower lit up the sky more than fireworks do on the Fourth of July.

The Eva skirt is a glittering, gold tulle skirt that matches the same sparkle as the tower once the sun goes down. I knew that I wanted to design something that would be elegant enough to wear at multiple occasions, but something that also had meaning to it. Since Paris is my favorite city in the world, whenever I put this skirt on, my heart just flutters.

I am hoping to further my skills with creating my own pieces this summer, now that I’ll have more time on my hands. Make sure to stay updated with all of my posts because I have big plans for my skirt (or skirts… hint hint) for July! 🙂
