Hello and Happy Friday beautiful people!
I know it’s been a minute since you last heard from me, but with finals coming up I have been completely and utterly slammed with exams, essays and projects! I’m taking a quick study break though to talk to you all about some of the hottest new trends for Spring!
One of the biggest trends that’s taken center stage is the one-shoulder and cold-shoulder looks. We saw this so much during Fashion Week in NYC from designers like Monique Lhuillier and Rosie Assoulin. Whether this style is brought out through a light and airy blouse, or a more structured sun dress, it seems like everyone is flocking to it. I personally love how it shows off just the right amount of skin for Spring time.
While blush is now being considered the new neutral, don’t be afraid to strut your stuff in a bright color! The not-so-mellow-yellow dress pictured above is another huge trend for Spring. After the dull and grey winter us West Siders have had in Michigan, I can’t wait to to see everyone wearing this joyful color!
A Spring essential would most definitely have to be a pair of white denim jeans. I believe every woman needs a pair during the warmer months because they can completely transform an outfit. The ones pictured above are currently on sale, which makes it even better!
