Good morning beautiful humans!
We are halfway through the week, which means I’m SO CLOSE to the end of this semester! Just a few more days of exams and then I’m free! To take a break from studying over the weekend, Jacob, Tessa and I went and picked out the most perfect Christmas tree for our little apartment. The tree farm we went to, Luurtsema’s, was only a couple of miles down the road from where we live, which was so nice!
The weather was abnormally warm for Michigan in December, but we took full advantage of it! We spent at least a couple hours out there looking the fattest and cutest tree just like the one we had last year! The only issue we ran into was moving it to my car after it was cut down. At first Tessa and I tried, but then we just left it for Jake to handle. Don’t worry, we supervised.
I honestly can’t wait for Christmas to get here! It truly is the best time of the year! It’s all about friends, family and traditions, and getting a real tree, even though our apartment is pretty small, is our tradition. I’m hoping to make a new tradition this year with Tessa too by going to NYC next week. It’s all so exciting and I can’t wait!
