Bonjour mes amis!
I hope you all are having a wonderful day so far! I started the morning off with a delicious butter crescent and café au lait while enjoying the views of the Mediterranean Sea from my balcony. It has officially been one week since I arrived in the French Riviera and it has been like a dream. The weather has been perfect, complete with sunshine and blue skies every single day, and the scenery is out of this world where ever I look. I have been staying just outside of Cannes, near La Bocca, and our hotel is right on the beach! It has definitely been busy with the Festival de Cannes having just begun a few short days ago, but I’m enjoying every minute of it!
My friends and I have explored through the town of Cannes, laid out in the sun on the beach, and have had late night drinks at either the Majestic hotel terrace or the Carlton. I never believed that I would be back in Europe for the third time since 2015, but I’m so thankful. France is definitely one of my favorite places in the world, especially after Jacob and I visited Paris a few summers ago (read that post here), but the Riviera is so much more relaxed and I am absolutely loving it.
I can’t wait to share with you all even more details about my time in Europe, including my day trip to Monaco, my time in Paris and Spain, and even an inside look behind the scenes of the prestigious Festival de Cannes!
